Tanner Haver is a blue-chip wildlife filmmaker focused on capturing rare, behavior-driven moments in remote, rugged environments. He specializes in long lens, drone, and remote camera trap cinematography with an emphasis on large carnivores and ungulates. His work is rooted in fieldcraft, persistence, and a deep respect for wild animals and the landscapes they inhabit.
He is currently a principle cinematographer on the first ever feature-length blue-chip documentary centered exclusively on mountain lions in the United States. The film, now in production, marks a historic first for the genre. Tanner also contributed to The American Southwest (2025), a natural history feature produced by Fin & Fur Films.
Tanner is the founder of Roaring Mountain Media, a production company dedicated to crafting premium wildlife footage and cinematography for broadcast, digital, and independent platforms. Based in Cody, Wyoming, he studied Biology and Geographic Information Systems at MSU and began his career filming wildlife in Yellowstone. He is a certified FAA part 107 drone pilot and currently works independently, developing and licensing high-end wildlife footage for major natural history productions.
